Bayonne Board of Education Salary Spreadsheet (DizzyKlizzie's Spreadsheet!)

Posted 03-23-2008 at 10:30 AM by HappyPolski
The attached spreadsheet has three different TABS:
<ul>
[*]SALARY - contains the information that was found at the BOE web site. Columns were the information was the same or sections that contained no data were deleted.
[*]DATA - has 2 PIVOT tables. The first one in broken down by the different employee TITLES. Listed next to each TITLE is:
<ul>
[*]# of Employees
[*]TOTAL salary of all employees under that TITLE.
[*]MAXIMUM SALARY
[*]MINIMUM SALARY
[*]AVERGE SALARY
[*]The GRAND TOTAL indicates the aforementioned values for all TITLES.

The second table lists employees by LAST NAME and indicates how many employees have the same LAST NAME. Since there is no indicator to familial relationship this is NOT meant to indicate how many family members are employed. By clicking a row in the right-most column of either table the various employees who comprise that data will appear in a new TAB.
<ul>
[*]DAYS - simply a breakdown of the year to determine how workdays the average worker puts in, sans vacation days.
Be advised that the data was culled from the BOE web site. It consists of only those employees whose base salary is greater than $75K. If the remaining individuals can be obtained I will incorporate them into an updated report.

Municipal Council Meeting of March 19, 2008

Posted 03-21-2008 at 10:40 AM by HappyPolski

<p class="MsoNormal">Attached is the agenda from that night's meeting.<o></o></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">There were 4 speakers penned in. One spoke about the recent beef problem and the BOE. Another commented about not being allowed to park in the various 'zones' throughout the HBLRT system. And Lenny and Bobby each spoke.<o></o></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">One of the main issues of the night was the Cablevision renewal. Attached is a copy of their survey. It can also be found on line at the City web site.<o></o></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Another interesting item centered around a change of the BLRA board membership. As the terms of the current members expire anyone employed in any capacity by the City or its various entities will not be brought back. The change will allow two members from the City Council and citizens who are not employees of the city.<o></o></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I understand that there is a difference between the Cablevision Survey (1) handed out at the meeting and the Cablevision Survey (2) that's online at the City website. Here’s the link - http://www.advancedsurvey.com/survey/header.asp</p>
