Mobile Precinct

Does anyone know what became of the "Mobile Precinct",a "state of the art" fortress-like truck which was to be sent to local hot spots to ensure overwhelming police presence to prevent crime and citizen unrest? It was probably purchased with federal grant funds, but was almost never used. Whatever happened to it?

of equipmrnt. |

JackThey break it out for parades and other high-visibility events.
I doubt that you'll ever see it on the street otherwise unless it's being washed. |
