The warring McGreeveys yesterday hit an impasse over alimony in the latest round of their divorce talks and were ordered to duke it out in front of a judge. Gay former New Jersey Gov. Jim McGreevey and his estranged wife, Dina Matos McGreevey, failed to reach a deal after another long day of pretrial negotiations in Union County family court. "No cigar today," said Jim McGreevey's lawyer, Stephen Haller, who last week celebrated the couple's out-of-court custody deal with a stogie. Last Thursday, the embattled duo inked a custody agreement for their 6-year-old daughter, Jacqueline, without a formal trial. In that deal, Jim McGreevey walked away with "close" to the 50-50 split of his daughter's time that he'd sought, Haller said.
