A Bronx woman has filed suit against the "evil" mastermind behind a multimillion-dollar body-parts theft ring that harvested her husband's tissues and bones without permission. Estrellita Callahan, 55, said she is happy Michael Mastromarino faces up to 54 years for snatching more than 1,000 corpses - including that of her husband, William Callahan - when he's sentenced June 12 at Brooklyn Supreme Court. "He's the evil one," Callahan said. Mastromarino, a 44-year-old former dentist, took a plea deal in April. When Callahan learned two years later that his remains were taken without her permission, she thought, "Oh my God! What's going on in this world? They don't care." She's horrified for still another reason about the sale of her husband's body parts for use in surgical transplants. "How did they do this thing? My husband is all full of cancer," she said. Her suit, filed in Bronx Supreme Court and seeking unspecified damages, also names Mastromarino's multimillion-dollar enterprise, Biomedical Tissue Services, as well as several alleged members of his ring.
