Default Tennis courts $35 an hour!!!

The tennis courts on top of the parking deck are $35 an hour. Registration is through the Newport fitness center. I guess this explains why they are never used. Honestly, I see people out there about once a week.

There are plenty of free courts within 5 miles distance. There are good courts located on Communipaw Ave, and in Bayonne.

Sadly, yes. Here it is one of the most beautiful days of the year and the courts arent being used. They weren't used yesterday either.

This is ridiculous. Newport group, get it through your head that people will not pay $35 an hour to play tennis in Jersey City.

Try $15 an hour and I promise you will make more money then if you keep the price where it is.

That is totally outrageous; especially , as you said, there are free courts nearby. I have a relative that would gladly pay $35 an hour so long as he didn't have to "associate" with people who make him "uncomfortable". Too bad he doesn't live there, he would definitely pay that price.

Wow ... we saw some people playing for an hour today. This is the pretty much only time we see this week. The another sad thing is even if you join the Newport gym, you won't get better price. The nice courts are being wasted.

Wow! Thirty Five Dollars an hour?? That's too much! I don't think I'd be spending that much just to rent a tennis court for an hour. I play tennis but I will not spend that much money for an hour use of their court. No way!
